How did Aiden feel when Matt kissed his neck/hold his hand on the beach in front of the cameras? And did anything like that happen off cameras before you were officially together?
Jasmine: Hi all. Sorry about the lack of updates. Both Matt and Aiden have be exuberantly busy, as have I so there is your crappy excuse for this blog being on hiatus for so long. But anyway…on with the show! I’m going to ask present Matt and Aiden to reminisce back to around half a year ago. It appears this question’s for Aiden first. So what were your feelings when Matt kissed your neck and held your hand on camera during the judges’ houses segment of the show?
Aiden: Well Matt and I were together then so we kind of tried to keep it on the down low but there were legitimate excuses for both of those incidents actually! We had to hold hands because the waves were really rough and I know the picture going around is just of me and Matt holding hands but someone cropped out Nicolo who was holding Matt’s other hand.
Jasmine: For those of you who don’t know it’s here:
Aiden: Yeah! So sorry to be a killjoy but that was the actual photo haha!
Jasmine: Just us obsessive fangirls is all. It’s perfectly normal!
Matt: And erm…obviously I just couldn’t stop myself when I found out Aiden was through. I mean I was actually ecstatic I’m surprised I didn’t rip his clothes of there on the spot!
Jasmine: Ooh! Calm down, Matt. There might be young ‘uns reading this. (No there aren’t.) So any off camera incidents?
Aiden: Well that’s an obvious question. The problem was actually getting away from the cameras. I mean after we both found out we were going to be in the live show we had to slip out of the way and into the loos.
Jasmine: To do what might I ask…?
Aiden: Jasmine! We just stole a kiss away from everybody. That’s all.
Jasmine: I’m simply wondering. It’s not like we’re interested in any more at all. (Yes we are.) So was that before you guys were officially together?
Matt: Yeah. Well we’re still not really “official” yet, in the public eye at least. I mean everyone thinks I’m dating Sarah when in actual fact she’s just helping hide mine and Aiden’s relationship. She’s a real babe. I cannot begin to tell you how much of a great friend she is.
Aiden: Definitely. We owe her big time.

Hello boys, long time no see! How have things been on the tour?
Matt: Hectic to say the least but it is genuinely the most amazing thing I have done in my whole life.
Aiden: Definitely. I mean there’s constantly something to do but in the end the shows are absolutely amazing and the reception from the crowd is phenomenal.
Jasmine: Oh that’s great guys! So let’s kick things back off again with a question. This person is asking about bedroom secrets besides Aiden’s eyes. Go on lads…
Matt: Bedroom secrets…? Erm…I’m not sure if I’m permitted to say anything.
Aiden: Wait…what have you got to tell??
Matt: There’s that thing that you…never mind.
Aiden: No really, what is it? I do something? What do I do??
Matt: No, honestly it’s nothing-
Aiden: *death stare*
Matt: Okay! Okay! Well it’s very rare that this happens but once every so often when we have sex…something inside you kind of clicks. And…you go very animal-like, it’s almost like a different person, don’t get me wrong it’s amazing. Just very different.
Aiden: Oh…really?
Jasmine: But Aiden seems like such a shy, timid thing bless him.
Matt: Haha that’s what I thought too until it first happened.
Aiden: I don’t realise there’s such a huge difference. I mean I know I go a bit crazy but like another person? Wow…I’ll look out for it next time.

Matt, what did you think of the eyeliner Aiden wore on the Halloween X factor show? Aiden, did you get jealous of the reports that Matt was dating stylist Grace?
Jasmine: Hello all I’m bringing forth another Q&A today, mostly because I’m bored but I don’t think anybody’s complaining, right? So Matt’s question first. Opinion on Aiden’s guyliner?
Matt: Guyliner…? Are you serious? Oh my God. *laughs*
Aiden: Oh yeah, where have you been for the past decade? *scoffs mockingly*
Matt: God that is just wrong. Guyliner…
Jasmine: Matt as much as we get that it’s a funny word…opinion?
Matt: Ah right well, again with the woolly jumpers thing. It suits Aiden but it doesn’t suit me.
Jasmine: You mean you tried it?
Matt: Yeah! Grace and Jackie made me try it on it was embarassing.
Aiden: Fun for me though!
Jasmine: Oh and speaking of Grace let’s move onto the next question which is were you jealous of the links between well…women on the show in general?
Aiden: Right well first things first all these links come from the tabloids and we all know what the tabloids are like. It’s like publicised shit-stirring.
Matt: Definitely, y’know that make-up girl that I was supposedly linked to? Can’t remember the name for my life.
Jasmine: Lauren Clements if my research proves correct.
Matt: Yeah her. I didn’t even fucking know who she was! Jackie was the only make-up stylist that I had any contact with and she’s a lovely woman but she’s married with two kids. That Lauren girl was blabbering on about how I know my way around a women…which I do…but just…there was so much that people made up about everybody on the show.
Aiden: Matt just seemed like the main target for everything. It was hilarious some of the stuff that was written about him though.
Matt: I’ve earned a reputation as a bit of a sex addict. Which I suppose I am but not with people I’m not with.
Aiden: *clears throat* Matt, I’m sure the nice people who are reading this don’t need to be told about our sexual tendencies…?
Jasmine: Erm…yeah…we’re not in the least interested… *looks around awkwardly*

Question for Aiden (from the past, after when he and Matt had been to Australia, when he came home) What did you tell your mum about Matt?
Jasmine: Hello everybody! I’m so glad to be back and asking Matt and Aiden questions again, it’s been so long! So over to you Aiden, first of all how was Australia?
Aiden: Oh yeah, it was fantastic! Really, really fun. Nerve-racking but so fun! And I’m ecstatic that I’m through. Completely over the moon.
Jasmine: And what about you, Matt?
Matt: Oh yeah, just the same! It was pretty amazing! It was such an incredible experience and to know that I’m through is just so surreal.
Jasmine: I can imagine! So then Aiden what did you tell your mum about Matt when you got home?
Aiden: Ah right, well see thing I have got the best relationship with my mum. She’s the world’s most fantastic woman in the world and she’s all-knowing, her. I mean obviously I went on about everybody and the experience as a whole to her but I went on about Matt so much. I wasn’t even conscious of it. So then one morning she was making breakfast and I saw she was making eggs and I just kind of came out with “Matt likes his eggs scrambled.” And at that moment my mum kind of looked me and said “Honey, do you have a crush on Matt?” And I was just…I guess happy that she sussed it out but then again I wasn’t sure how she was going to react. So of course I admitted to it and went on to saying how it wasn’t only a crush, that we had made it “official”. She was really accepting and said it was alright as long as he made me happy and treated me well. She’s always had a thing for homosexuals anyway. Though…it might be the campness my mum likes. I’m not really camp am I?
Matt: I wouldn’t say so.
Aiden: Manly. Grr.
Matt: Grr indeed. *raises his eyebrows*

Matt, when did you suspect Aiden had a crush on you?
Jasmine: Good evening one and all I’m terribly sorry for this two week hiatus! Matt & Aiden have been quite busy at rehearsals and Matt at the Brits as well! So I think tonight present Matt will be leading the way on this first question. So when was it that you thought Aiden liked you?
Matt: Well I wasn’t entirely sure that he liked me in that way at first, I thought he must have just liked me as a friend. I was really the first one to sort of make the first move in er…”confirming my speculations” should I say…?
Jasmine: How do you mean?
Matt: Now that I think back it was quite stupid what I did. Quite reckless too. It could’ve become very very ugly if Aiden didn’t in fact feel the same way.
Jasmine: Why…? What did you do?
Aiden: *smiling to himself as Matt blushes furiously* He kind of forced a kiss on me. It was quite…exhilarating I’d say. But whenever Matt thinks about how bad it could’ve gone if it turned out that I didn’t like him. Reckless, Cardle, that’s what you are.
Matt: Argh…you’re telling me.
Jasmine: Haha poor Matt, what happened after that?
Aiden: Well the full story is that we were sharing a room during the live shows and one night we went back to our rooms a little tipsy. I guess a little loss of inhibitions was all it took for Matt to “reveal his true self” you could say.
Matt: I pictured our first kiss being more special.
Aiden: It was special. It was our first kiss, what can be more special than that?
Matt: *smiles* I love you, Aid.
